About Art Walk

The North Beaches Art Walk is a monthly event orchestrated by the North Beaches Art Walk Association, a non profit organization 501 (c)(3) based in Atlantic Beach, FL.

Since its beginning in October of 2007, the North Beaches Art Walk has continued to receive positive support from the community, and has an ever-growing list of participating merchants and artists. Spread the word - and hope to see you at the next Art Walk!

As a non-profit NBAW strives to support other local non-profits. We allow one non-profit a month to set up an informational table in front of Sticky Fingers Restaurant to promote themselves, and to sell art as a fundraiser. Contact Linda Stewart at Archway Gallery & Framing for more details.

Catherine Courtney uses your chosen photographs to hand paint realistic oil portraits that will last for centuries, using multiple photographs, if desired. Of British family, she was raised in South Africa, then lived in London, England for 15 years before immigrating to the U.S.A. She began her career as an actress/drama teacher and director, but was always influenced by her mother, a well-known watercolor painter and sculptor. She has studied oil painting under various instructors and is increasingly absorbed by the exciting process of bringing life to a blank canvas in portrait work. She is also employed by "Young Rembrandts", teaching art to children.
