About Art Walk

The North Beaches Art Walk is a monthly event orchestrated by the North Beaches Art Walk Association, a non profit organization 501 (c)(3) based in Atlantic Beach, FL.

Since its beginning in October of 2007, the North Beaches Art Walk has continued to receive positive support from the community, and has an ever-growing list of participating merchants and artists. Spread the word - and hope to see you at the next Art Walk!

As a non-profit NBAW strives to support other local non-profits. We allow one non-profit a month to set up an informational table in front of Sticky Fingers Restaurant to promote themselves, and to sell art as a fundraiser. Contact Linda Stewart at Archway Gallery & Framing for more details.

I am a self-taught artist, drawing since the age of 2. I draw or paint every day, including on car trips, in church, and waiting at doctors' offices.  So I am always working on something.  I have a notebook and colored pencils with me all the time. I believe art can be a very powerful form of self-expression. I express abstract style in my artwork and I feel good every time I draw or paint. Art provides me opportunities for creativity; the boundaries are endless. Later in life I can see myself in graphic arts or creating animation for Pixar.

In my paintings are energy, feelings, and rhythm.  My favorite subject is natural science, like the world around me, animals, fossils etc. I like to paint curves and swirls. The ideas come out of my head, sometimes right before I go to sleep and then I sketch it out in my notebook and finish it the next day. My favorite artists are Picasso, DaVinci, Michelangelo, and VanGogh.
