About Art Walk

The North Beaches Art Walk is a monthly event orchestrated by the North Beaches Art Walk Association, a non profit organization 501 (c)(3) based in Atlantic Beach, FL.

Since its beginning in October of 2007, the North Beaches Art Walk has continued to receive positive support from the community, and has an ever-growing list of participating merchants and artists. Spread the word - and hope to see you at the next Art Walk!

As a non-profit, NBAW strives to support other local non-profits. We allow one non-profit a month to set up an informational table in front of Archway Gallery to promote themselves, and to sell art as a fundraiser.  (More Details)

My name is Marimar and I was born and raised in Spain.  I have lived in this wonderful country for over 20 years  I am the mother of 3 sons and a proud Air Force Mom. I live in Atlantic Beach, FL. My handcrafted beaded jewelery/Talismans has become my passion!

All of my jewelry is made by me from natural stones and minerals, fresh water pearls, semi-gemstone beads, crystals and any other materials that inspire me. Each piece is unique, I never make two quite the same.  The pieces are made for adornment or for a healing purpose...(example: Reiki, Feng Shui)

Some of my gemstone pendants are already shaped and polished when I buy them.  Some of them I buy "in the rough," which I then cut, shape, polish, and wire to create a unique pendant, then decorate with beautiful gemstone beads, crystal beads and findings.  All my Jewelry is created with good intentions and positive energy.

Each gemstone is different either by shape, form or color, and each one has a meaning and a healing property. Whether or not you believe in the metaphysical and healing powers and properties of gemstones, you will find that unique handmade artisan jewelry is quite different than mass produced jewelry.   The love, compassion and positive energy that goes into creating it makes each piece special.
