About Art Walk

The North Beaches Art Walk is a monthly event orchestrated by the North Beaches Art Walk Association, a non profit organization 501 (c)(3) based in Atlantic Beach, FL.

Since its beginning in October of 2007, the North Beaches Art Walk has continued to receive positive support from the community, and has an ever-growing list of participating merchants and artists. Spread the word - and hope to see you at the next Art Walk!

As a non-profit, NBAW strives to support other local non-profits. We allow one non-profit a month to set up an informational table in front of Archway Gallery to promote themselves, and to sell art as a fundraiser.  (More Details)

I am largely self-taught as a jewelry designer from New York and lover of nature and crystals, studying briefly at Silvermine Arts Studio, and wire sculpture with Dale Cougar Armstrong and electroforming with Kate Fowle.
 
My designs embrace stones with bead techniques, wire wrapping or metalsmithing with silver and metalforming with 24k cyanide-free gold over copper or silver.
 
I have also studied crystals with Judy Hall (Dorset, UK) and Reiki with Ginny Mackles (Millwood, NY Sunburst Crystals 5th Generation Usui Master). At present, I love to pick the brains of a few regional rockhounds and geologists and learn as much as possible about the stones. My gems and minerals are either hand selected from local collectors or small mines to trusted established vendors with naturally sourced stones. I am working refiners who offer recycled metals and have a passion for finding stones whose origins are transparent.
 
The core essence of my philosophy is to create an awareness of stone types and their inherent healing benefits. Creating eye catching designs with ethically sourced stones and minerals also helps me improve the earth’s sustainability.
