About Artwalk

The North Beaches Artwalk is a monthly event orchestrated by the North Beaches Artwalk Association, a non profit organization 501 (c)(3) based in Atlantic Beach, FL.
Since its beginning in October of 2007, the North Beaches Artwalk has continued to receive positive support from the community, and has an ever-growing list of participating merchants and artists. Spread the word - and hope to see you at the next Artwalk!

As a non-profit NBAW strives to support other local non-profits. We allow one non-profit a month to set up an informational table in front of Sticky Fingers Restaurant to promote themselves, and to sell art as a fundraiser. Contact Linda Stewart at Archway Gallery & Framing for more details.

Nature has so much to offer, especially when we’re able to take the time to stop and look closely. My photography’s goal is to give you an opportunity to take a detailed look at some aspect of the natural world that surrounds us that you might not otherwise get to experience. This might be the grains of pollen on a butterfly’s face, a least tern sheltering a newborn chick, the spines on a spider’s legs, the softness of a bird’s feathers, or the orange pre-dawn glow in the sky in a special place.

As I’ve built my skills as a photographer and naturalist over the past 15 years, my portfolio of film and digital images has grown to include a wide variety of birds, butterflies, flowers, and landscapes. I’ve found most of my subjects in Florida, especially Northeast Florida. To make sure that I capture that “special moment”, I typically visit an area many times year after year. The images that I display often represent years of patient observation and photography.
